Okay, this is a bit of a tourist fly-trap, but the Galeria Bar at the Nacional in Havana does spill into the gardens where you can usually find yourself a quiet, shady and generously padded spot to lie back and enjoy a warm afternoon with a great view of the Caribbean and an even better view of the meandering, grazing trippers.
I can’t attest to the cocktail menu since I’ve always gone straight for the Mojitos, which are fine in every respect, though this is a bar where getting off your arse for a refill is sometimes a good move.
